Background
- Talwar's custody is on the basis of FIR lodged by CBI in 2017 for conspiring to give up profit making routes and timings of the national carrier in favour of inter international and domestic private airlines.
- It resulted in huge loss to India.
Allegations
- During Bilateral meeting of India with UAE and Qatar on seat entitlement, airlines of UAE and Qatar had gained more compared to Air India.
- Talwar acted as middleman in the negotiations.
- Mr. Saxena was accused for providing corporate Structure across the globe foe laundering of the bribe money in the VVIP chopper deal case.
