- BRICS Foreign Ministers meeting is scheduled to be held in Brasilia.
- Diplomats from the five-nation grouping of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa said that the digital economy would dominate the meeting.
- There would be calling for a united stand on issues surrounding 5G networks and data storage.

- Russia on Huawei:(1) Russia said that Policy of the United States of America with regard to certain Chinese companies is an inappropriate way of dealing with competition.(2) It further said that it believes that the U.S. moves against Huawei are motivated by commercial considerations, not security risks, as claimed.
