
Lok Sabha endorses ending Special status of J&K
Why in news?
- The Centre’s decisions of reorganising the state of J&K into two Union Territories ending its special status under Article 370 and 35 (A) was subscribed by Lok Sabha.
- The resolution for ending the special status and the Bill for creation of two UT’s had already been approved by the Rajya Sabha.

- One of the reasons for withdrawal of the special status of J&K was: Denial of rights to minorities, who dint have right to vote.
