
Govt. moves to reopen J&Kfor high-end winter tourists
Why is it in news?
- The Jammu & Kashmir Government has withdrawn an advisory which asked tourists to leave the Kashmir valley.

- The advisory was issued on August 2 by the Home Department on intelligence inputs of a possible terror attack.
- This decision is aimed at “high value” foreign touristswho visit the State during winter to enjoy activities like skiing and adventure sports.
- Mobile phone and internet services are blocked in valley from August 5.
