SC to hear pleas for judicial probe
Why in news?
- The Supreme Court recently agreed to suo motu hear pleas for a judicial inquiry into the police action against students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University, saying protests could go on but there should be no riots, violence or arson on the streets.
