- Union Finance Minister said devolution of funds to the States was done as per the recommendations of the Finance Commission.

(2) Finance minister refuted that allocation for the MGNREGA scheme in the Budget had been reduced.
- To Telangana:
(1) During the next five years (2015-2020), which included the rest of this fiscal, the estimated release to Telangana would be Rs. 1,06,606 crore or an increase of 128%.
(2) Telangana is one of the few States which has been given a higher borrowing limit of 3.5% of SDP instead of 3% which is allowed for most other States.
