
India will protect every inch of its territory: PM

- The statement came a day after the Army announced 20 soldiers were killed by Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.

- The U.S. supports a “peaceful resolution” of the current conflict between India and China.
- A White House readout for the June 2 call had referred to Mr. Modi and Mr. Trump discussing “regional security issues”, without naming China.
