Conclusion | In recent years there has been increase in the development of smaller satellites by private firms for use in traffic control or geographical studies. Satellites for weather observation or defence that are in use are normally large and are commissioned by the government authorities. As the private sector satellite market is growing in the direction of small satellites, it becomes necessary for global space agencies to develop smaller, lighter and more efficient satellite delivery systems in order to cater to the growing market. |
