- What are the Petitioners Contentions –
(1) Information blackout was “fuelling anxiety, panic, alarm, insecurity and fear among the residents” of the Kashmir Valley.
(2) Restrictions on movement of photojournalists andreporters.
(3) These restrictions are curbing the rights of journalists under Articles 14 and 19 and they should be allowed topractise their profession.
