Telangana town to host ‘Bird Walk’ festival
Why is it in the news?
- The department of Forest will host a first-of-its kind free ‘Bird Walk’ in different parts of the district to showcase the richness of avian community living in the forests of this region on December 14 and 15.

- Objective of Bird Walk:
(1) To expose the staggering array of bird species including migratory, rare and endangered ones to the world.
(2) To make the people aware of potentiality of the forests.
