Why is it in news?
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Japan for G-20 summit where he said that ties between India and Japan had become stronger from the time the two countries cooperated to make a car to coming together to manufacture a bullet train.

    (5) Agreement for Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy.
    (6) To build upon cooperation in the field of smart cities.
